Jackie's Forget Me Nots

No vase can overflow if you never fill it up.

This is a weekly meme created by Books by Proxy, but kept up by Lynn’s Book Blog.

This is an excellent opportunity to feature some of your favourite book covers. The rules are relatively simple, each week following a predetermined list, choose a book, compare a couple of the different covers available for that particular book and choose your favourite.

This weeks theme

31st August – “Come, buy our orchard fruits, Come, buy, come, buy’ – A cover featuring a goblin or dwarves

Greta and the Goblin King (Mylena Chronicles #1)

I chose this book because it fits the theme. The story features a Goblin King, Isaac. He is the ruler of Mylena. Mylena is a dark and dangerous place, fraught with all sorts of nightmares. My favourite cover is the one on the left. Isaac admires Greta from a distance because she is brave and courageous and beautiful. I like the full moon and the snowy landscape. Whereas, the other cover seems to portray Greta as a young girl with wide innocent blue eyes and doesn’t have anything to do with Goblins other than in the title. Idk they’re both nice lol.

I can see why you like these covers! I find myself leaning more toward The white cover–there’s just something about it that draws me in more. That said, I do like covers that say something about what the book more than those that don’t.

I have the real book with the cover on the left and it is one of my favourite books ever because it has that rubbery lavish feel to it that makes it showcase worthy. Have a great day! Thanks for visiting!

Interesting choice, I’ve not heard of this one before. I find myself leaning towards the cover on the left – I like the cold feel.

Oh yes, it definitely has a cold vibe and she is a lot prettier. Thanks for visiting!

Don't Eat That

The food pyramid is a lie, meat fat is good for you, and many (if not most) health problems are treatable with diet alone. I'm in remission from severe arthritis (multiple joints replaced), chronic fatigue, depression and a plethora of other symptoms from changing how I eat. This blog chronicles how my family and my parents eat and what it's done for us.
