Jackie's Forget Me Nots

No vase can overflow if you never fill it up.

This is a weekly meme created by Books by Proxy, but kept up by Lynn’s Book Blog.

This is a great opportunity to feature some of your favourite book covers. The rules are fairly simple. Each week, following a predetermined list, choose a book, compare a couple of the different covers available for that particular book and choose your favourite.

This weeks theme

– ‘To be a legend, you’ve either got to be dead, or excessively old!’ – A cover with a title featuring the word ‘legend’

I love reading Christmas themed books, but TBH, except for Mary Lu’s Legend series and the classic, I Am Legend, there wasn’t a lot on my radar. I figured those would have already been taken. 😉 Besides I like Claus: Legend of the Fat Man which I read on my kindle in 2012. It was chilling, and I was pleasantly surprised. It’s the Christmas story you never heard.
• The title’s font in the first one is probably my favourite with Jack Frost and his brother Santa Claus. The blue in the ice cave is so vibrant.
• The other one features a dark wintery scene, with sleigh tracks in the snow.

What is your favourite?

What a great choice – I’ve never heard of this book before but I’ll definitely go and check it out.

I definitely recommend it. Thanks Lynn!

  2. I went with Legend by Marie Lu 😂😂 But I couldn’t find a different book with the word Legend that I had read! So Kudos to you for finding a different one! 😀 I agree with your choice I like the first cover best!

What an unusual choice! I like the cover featuring Father Christmas best. It sounds very creepy.
