Jackie's Forget Me Nots

No vase can overflow if you never fill it up.

This is a weekly meme created by Books by Proxy, but kept up by Lynn’s Book Blog.

This is a great opportunity to feature some of your favourite book covers. The rules are fairly simple each week, following a predetermined list, choose a book, compare a couple of the different covers available for that particular book and choose your favourite.

This weeks theme

Knock, knock… ‘who’s there?’ – A cover featuring a door, ajar or closed

One of my favourite books Daughter of Smoke and Bone (UK edition) features a door. The door that was marked by the angel with a handprint beside it. I like the German one, I hadn’t seen before, and the Dutch, but I still think the original cover with the blue mask with feathers, along with the beautiful font is my favourite. Which one do you like?

  1. I love doors on book covers. That red door is gorgeous!

The original cover is lovely – I totally agree. I also like the one with the door on it – and it did occur to me to use this book this week but I’m pretty sure I’ve used it before so wanted to find something different.
    Great choice.

Don't Eat That

The food pyramid is a lie, meat fat is good for you, and many (if not most) health problems are treatable with diet alone. I'm in remission from severe arthritis (multiple joints replaced), chronic fatigue, depression and a plethora of other symptoms from changing how I eat. This blog chronicles how my family and my parents eat and what it's done for us.
