Jackie's Forget Me Nots

No vase can overflow if you never fill it up.

I use MagicLinks for all my ready-to-shop product links. Check it out here: https://www.magiclinks.org/rewards/referral/jackiebrie/

Allow me to show you what I got in my subscription #Boxycharm (referral link) box this month.

I am delighted with this month’s Boxycharm where I am even willing to overlook the lip palette because it is from Smashbox. I love Smashbox. However, I don’t like lipstick in palettes. You have to apply it with a lip brush. Besides, it gets messy. Oh well. The cuticle oil is something I always use when I do my nails, but I can’t smell it :/ Kathleen lights said its fragrance was like candy. I am a huge fan of sheet masks, but I’ve never done an eye mask before. Now I’m determined to try them. I love the mascara and the eyeshadow palette and the brow/eyeliner. I used the Tarte Cosmetics mascara today and let me tell you. I love the way it makes my eyelashes look! I have short next to no eyelashes, and this mascara makes them appear full.  It is long wearing as well. I am not a professional makeup artist, so when it comes to colourful eyeshadows, I don’t know how to make them work. So this ‘party animal’ by Laura Lee Los Angeles is a little intimidating. So that’s it.

  1. I am not a fan of using a brush with lipstick either, but Princess Sophia loves to this. I’ve never gotten a subscription box.

I may unsubscribe not because it isn’t good, because do I really need another makeup subscription box? IDK.

  2. I’m mad cause I didn’t get the mascara or lip palette and I love lip palettes… so very easy to mix and create your own shades. Great post

I’m sorry you didn’t get what you wanted. I thought everyone got the same if you want the palette I can send you mine because I don’t like it. I haven’t touched it and it’s still in the box.

      1. It’s not your fault Jackie, it’s disharding to see that everyone doesn’t received the samething. I’m like you, thought we all got the same…seeing it’s not the case. I would love the palette, is there anything I can give you in exchange for it?

      2. Hi Jackie,
I just want you to know that I did receive the palette… I’m just now opening. Work has me crazy. It’s beautiful… Thank you again 😃😃

Don't Eat That

The food pyramid is a lie, meat fat is good for you, and many (if not most) health problems are treatable with diet alone. I'm in remission from severe arthritis (multiple joints replaced), chronic fatigue, depression and a plethora of other symptoms from changing how I eat. This blog chronicles how my family and my parents eat and what it's done for us.
