Jackie's Forget Me Nots

No vase can overflow if you never fill it up.

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted @ Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news, recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received, and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

OMG! It’s time for the Sunday Post already?! This week went by quick. I don’t know what is wrong with the weather but these past few days we have been breathing poor quality air caused by smoke, reducing visibility, on top of it being unusually hot. Tonight (Saturday) it finally cooled off with some rain showers. UGH!

It's Monday! What Are You Reading

I finished two books (Amazon)

Pestilence (The Four Horsemen) Book 1 by Laura Thalassa

Vice (Fireborn Wolves book 1) by Genevieve Jack

I am currently reading

Virtue: A Knight World Novel (Fireborn Wolves Book 2)

I decided it was much less expensive to get Kindle Unlimited. So what I added to my Kindle shelf were two series from a couple of authors in which I have been missing.
Genevieve Jack’s new series (Fireborn Wolves)
Cambria Hebert (Bearpaw Resort).
Genevieve Jack new standalone called Wicked Seduction.

I also added Jane Eyre because according to readers the next book I want to read is about it.

What I want to read

My Plain Jane #2

In the vicinity of Shaganappi Village sits a (lowly 8 story)highrise concrete-red-brick building along with single family townhouses. There are two newly built condominium highrises which are connected to the pedestrian bridge overpass to Westbrook Mall on the other side. I live in that area. Here is a conceptual drawing of what the Bow Trail Pedestrian bridge is mainly supposed to look like after the completed renovations. I can’t wait for that.

In food news, is anyone hungry for pizza and . . . patio furniture? Have you seen this Boston Pizza box? The patio furniture is so cute! I never thought that the middle pizza separator was like a table lol

Have a great week everybody!

Glad you got a break from the heat, even if it did take rain to do it! We’ve had hot temps here too but more rain as well, and that’s helped.

That pedestrian bridge looks like it’s going to be amazing!

Love that pizza box patio furniture! That’s the cutest thing I’ve seen all day 🙂

Thanks for commenting Greg! The bridge is in need of repair so bad but construction hasn’t started yet even though they said it would begin in June of this year. I love your name btw. It seems that mother nature is coming down hard on mankind for their atrocities against her huh. Anyhow I found the pizza box adorable when I first saw it posted on Twitter by Candy Johnson.

  2. We’ve been having a lot of summer storms. It’s nice to have a break from the heat, but it seems like they keep coming out of nowhere.

  4. The bridge looks really cool. I used to play with those pizza separators when I was a kid. They were the perfect height to be doll chairs or tables. I had some of them in my dollhouse. Enjoy your new books! Have a great week.

Hi, Mary, I hope you find the time to read My Plain Jane. I should probably read Jane Eyre first.

  6. We’re smelling the smoke from the California fires here in Minnesota too. We also have much higher than normal temperatures. It almost makes me long for Fall – almost. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

I’ve been wanting to get into My Plain Jane! I’m a book behind, but that’d be a good library grab for me.

My post is here. Have a great week!

Yes, I was thinking of getting My Plain Jane at the library, but instead, I saw Owlcrates July box is all about My Plain Jane, and I can’t wait for that. I don’t get it every month only when they have something I want. Anyway thanks for taking the time to comment. Always appreciate it,

Oh, that weather is crazy. Here is also really hot and even if it rains (but it haven’t in days) it’s hot again immediately, like rain doesn’t cool of the heat…
Anyway, I hope you’ll have a lovely Sunday!

Don't Eat That

The food pyramid is a lie, meat fat is good for you, and many (if not most) health problems are treatable with diet alone. I'm in remission from severe arthritis (multiple joints replaced), chronic fatigue, depression and a plethora of other symptoms from changing how I eat. This blog chronicles how my family and my parents eat and what it's done for us.
