Best New-to-me Authors I’ve Read in 2017

1.Alwyn Hamilton of Rebel of the Sands. Lots of adventure in this one. Loved it.
2. I had the pleasure of receiving an ARC of Lotta Smith of Wicked for Hire in a book tour which extended into me reading more of her books. They were quirky and fun.
3.Erika Johansen of Queen of the Tearling is a lawyer by profession and she did a fantastic job.
4.Maria Snyder of Poison Study is an author I ain’t finished with yet. I want to read her entire Study series.
5.Kass Morgan of The 100. I loved the TV show based on her books more.
6.Megan Shepherd of The Madman’s Daughter is based on the Island of Dr. Moreau which I haven’t read.
7.Maria Emmerich of The 30 Day Ketogenic Cleanse cookbook. A healthy way of eating but her recipes are extravagant.
8.Christopher Ciccone (Madonna’s brother) in Life with my sister Madonna. I didn’t know existed until I read his book. I enjoy a good autobiography
9.Jenny Hale of Christmas Wishes and Mistletoe Kisses. This had me wanting to live inside the pages. I love getting into the Spirit of Christmas with a good book.
10.Sarah Morgan of Miracle on 5th Avenue. I will definitely read her other books.

  1. I’ve read and enjoyed Morgan as well as Shepard. I’ve heard Hamilton is good, just need to try her.
