Jackie's Forget Me Nots

No vase can overflow if you never fill it up.

This month’s Glam Bag is inspired by frosty days and twinkling nights with a splash of mint, a coat of silver, and a touch of sparkle to stash all your winter beauty essentials.

This post is inspired by the movie Frozen and by the phrase “If kisses were snowflakes I would send you a blizzard.”

Good and Gracious! I love Ipsy, but I hate our postal service. I am sorry but it is true. There is a new mail carrier every day it seems, and they need someone who can handle the job. The first mailman I liked apparently QUIT because there were too many parcel deliveries. Lol (not all were mine) and he did not have a vehicle. Wth? Ever since then, we have had female carriers who have cars but, they are incompetent at doing anything right it seems. They are never on time and make severe blunders by delivering the wrong packages. With the usual guy, he would come around 11 a.m. before noon every single day without exception, AND he never failed. Now? ALL HOURS OF THE DAY sometimes 4:30 in the afternoon! I cannot wait for the mailman all day! I have other things to do lol. They need to be on time, so I know to be home at that time FFS. Otherwise, I would have to go and pick it up at the post office, and I do not want to do that. It is inconvenient ;p
Today the postman said she loved Ipsy!
“I Love those,” she said. Awww.

Isn’t it great when you can rely on something that small in a pink envelope to brighten your day?

I wish I could say the same about the mail service :/ Reliable and on time and never fails.
If wishes were snowflakes, I could build a snowman.

Elsa? Do you want to build a snowman?
Ok Bye

Ofra Liquid Lipstick comes in many different colour shades, and it is very creamy. I like the particular tone unzipped because it was created especially for Ipsters, but pink is not my colour.
Dirty Little Secret Eyeshadow crayon in colour Fetch. I love DSL eyeshadows, and this crayon feels nice and big. Lining the lower lashline is perfect.
Luxie Beauty precision shader onyx brush 239. These onyx brushes look so lovely and chic and are great brushes to make your eyeshadow-on-fleek. I love them.
Chella Eyebrow Defining Gel I tried it just this morning and wow! This stuff is good. I like the way my eyebrows look and feel after I use this.
Feel Facial Sheet Mask I have not tried these sheet masks, but I cannot wait. I think my favourite skincare product is a sheet mask. Like I said in another blog post, I have never found one I did not like. Because my face gets heated up in areas, I find them to be soothing as they provide a lot of moisture and hydration for your skin.

  1. I use to subscribe to Ipsy and then stopped but I recently had the chance to try a bag for free so I figured why not. I see we only got two things in common the brush and the Ofra liquid lipstick.

Don’t you love Ipsy? I do. I think it’s great you got a free bag and I hope you reconsider . I didn’t like the colour of the Ofra lipstick but I like the brand and I love Luxie brushes

  2. My daughter gets a bag each month too, not sure if it’s this one but know she gets excited when it arrives! Awesome bag this month!

    1. Jackie says:

I like Ipsy because I like trying out new makeup and skincare products and you can customize your bag to what suits you even for an older mature woman like me 😉

  3. Britney says:

That lip color is pretty! I’m supposed to get that eyebrow defining gel as well, but my bag hasn’t arrived yet. 😦 It’s late this month.

    1. Jackie says:

Oh, that’s a bummer. I hope you are happy with the eyebrow gel as I am. I am obsessed with my eyebrows lately. I want fuller bushy ones lol

Don't Eat That

The food pyramid is a lie, meat fat is good for you, and many (if not most) health problems are treatable with diet alone. I'm in remission from severe arthritis (multiple joints replaced), chronic fatigue, depression and a plethora of other symptoms from changing how I eat. This blog chronicles how my family and my parents eat and what it's done for us.
