Jackie's Forget Me Nots

No vase can overflow if you never fill it up.

Today I received Notoriously Morbids First Halloween Calendar and not a day too soon. The countdown starts today, October 19th through the 31st. I’d love to show you guys in a video of what I received but I can’t without a proper video camera. Regardless I got the mini-sized version because I didn’t want to pay for the full size.

The Ghouls Are All Here Advent Calendar

Creepers, It’s here! Celebrate Halloween with NM’s very first countdown to Halloween ’17 Advent Calendar, “All The Ghouls Are Here”! Each box contains 13 new mystery items and some new products counting down to the big spooky day! If you are new to advent calendars here is low-down: Each product will be a mystery for you to solve (open) and they will be numbered. You will unlock one item (the numbers will let you know which one to open for that day) until the very end for a sparkly, spooky, Halloween. Like…no way do you want to miss out on this!

Are you thinking what I’m thinking? This year we are celebrating our favorite mystery-solving, meddling gang!

This advent calendar is available in mini and full size. The mini box contains 11 mini items and 2 whole sizes. The total volume includes 13 full-size items. The products are the same in each table except for sizes.

Please note that this box does not contain carmine in any products, but some products will contain beeswax. Ingredients will be listed on a flyer in the box and also on the products.

I was somewhat disappointed at first glance. It was a let down to see all of the products loosely wrapped in a box. I was expecting a real quality Advent Calendar with doors :/ You know, a bit more fancy for the price I paid. $50. I just thought they could’ve made it more presentable, resembling an actual calendar. They just threw everything together in a shipping box and slapped a number sticker with a date on the products which you absolutely can guess what they are. I mean really? I was a little disappointed; not gonna lie.

The shadow of the day for October 19 is Ghost Clown.(pictured above) I might have spilled it all over the table. OOPS. I Love the color. It’s a shimmery orange and gold, but you can tell there is a green hue to it, almost ghostly. I only wish I could transform myself into my own version of the clown ‘IT ‘ for Halloween by using the product. *sigh

Notoriously Morbid Advent Calendar is a good idea, and so far the products seem pretty good, and if you can’t tell, the theme is Scooby Doo and the Gang. They just need to work on a better delivery and give us our money’s worth.

I also bought a full sized pumpkin halo eyeshadow, (pictured below) but the full-size product seems small to me. It is the same size as ghost clown who is supposed to be a sample size!

Pumpkin Halo Shadow

Do I think it is worth $50? No. I honestly like Ghost Clown and Pumpkin Halo though.  I look forward to using them because they are festive and fun. I wish I had gotten the full sized box. I will definitely buy the full-size next year.
