Jackie's Forget Me Nots

No vase can overflow if you never fill it up.

Thursdays Thought is a weekly feature where I choose something commonly annoying that others can relate with and write about it.

Don’t you just hate it when things don’t work the way you expect?
What is the worse thing you ever bought?
What is it about your purchase that you don’t like?

I rather like getting things for nothing; then I don’t feel so bad when they don’t work very well. For instance; I was expecting a cute kitchen dinette, not a wobbly tabletop. The chairs also have wheels, but they do not move when I go to sit down!

I bought a Dinette kitchen table that wobbles and chairs with wheels that don’t roll. :/

wobbly tabletop with wheels on chairs that don’t move

I don’t remember how much I paid for it, but I hate sitting down to eat because the table is unstable. When I put my elbows on it, it wobbles, and I hate that. The chairs are also annoying.

I have four bench seats that have little wheels that should move around, but as soon as I sit down, they do not move. Can’t they hold anything over one hundred pounds? I am not kidding. I weigh too much for my kitchen chairs! The wheels do not roll as smoothly when I sit down. I like the dinette because it fits in my small space and it is round. If only it worked better.

It fits perfectly. Unfortunately, I hate that it wobbles. No matter how much we tighten the darn thing, it always loosens and keeps getting shaky. I just hate when you pay good money and end up disappointed. It just doesn’t help. Sure it is fine for putting stuff on top but not if you want to sit down and eat your dinner or even write a letter. The view is the only thing good about it. Oh, and the chairs are also storage boxes. Sitting on the cushioned bench, I can see out the window at the whole city skyline.

Don't Eat That

The food pyramid is a lie, fat is good for you, and many (if not most) health problems are treatable with diet alone. I'm in remission from severe arthritis (multiple joints replaced), chronic fatigue, depression and a plethora of other symptoms from changing how I eat. This blog chronicles how my family and my parents eat and what it's done for us.
