In response to The Daily Post's writing prompt: "A True Saint."In 300 years, if you were to be named the patron saint of X, what would you like X to be?
Patron Saint of Facepalms because all my grief and sorrows would be worth the salvation of not just my soul but lost souls.. I know the bible says our works are like filthy rags but please understand that sufferings and trials are not the same as our works. Nobody can work their way into heaven I don’t think. Everyone needs to pass through a crucible of suffering before you can get to heaven, whether you do enough of that on earth or in purgatory.

St. Jacqueline of the valley
St. Jude the Apostle is the most popular saint of hopeless cases.[Mark 3:18 and Matthew 10:3] and he also happens to be my patron saint this year and I didn’t remember that until just now. Well he is very old and probably one of the first to be sainted by the Universal Catholic Church. I have called on him once or twice before. I love the saints, they are our brothers and sisters and I’d love to meet them someday. I just hope they can help me out in difficult situations and teach me to be a better person
I think we are living in dark and desperate times and martyrdom can be a welcome alternative so that’s something to be happy about.[I’m being sarcastic] I’ve also suffered many things some terrible and some worse than horrible.
