Jackie's Forget Me Nots

No vase can overflow if you never fill it up.

In response to The Daily Post's writing prompt: "Night and Day." Have you ever had an experience that was amazing the first time, but terrible the second time around? Or vice versa? What made it different the second time?

Sometimes I get lucky. The first time I bought a scratch and win lottery ticket at the stampede I won a chance inside the Money Booth. I was overly excited at winning but the opportunity made me nervous when everyone was watching me. They made me wear an apron with pockets so that I could stuff all the money in and once the air is turned on the bills fly up and over. I think I had 60 seconds to grab as much money as I could but you had to be pretty darn fast at stuffing your pockets. I wanted to catch a 50 dollar bill or perhaps the 100 dollar but I managed to grab 40 dollars in total. It wasn’t big money but it was totally fun. I tried another time but I didn’t win. The second time wasn’t as good as the first because I didn’t win any money.

  1. There is such a thing as a money booth ? 00 That doesn’t exist in my country. I think it would be perceived as not appropriate as all.

YESSS! I think I won more than 40 dollars actually. My boyfriend was there and he said it was more like 70 dollars so, my bad.
