Jackie's Forget Me Nots

No vase can overflow if you never fill it up.

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “These Horns Were Made for Tooting.”Today, share something you love about yourself — don’t be shy, be confident! — but that few other people know about you or get to see very often.

smugmugwhen I smile my top lip gets stuck on my overcrowded canines. That was before I got the two teeth behind them pulled. I am so thankful for the dentist who fixed my teeth. It was a simple fix and my dentist was right about them falling back into place once I pulled some teeth out. I have large teeth and there just wasn’t enough room in my mouth to fit all of them. I can remember it causing a lot of problems with my self esteem and smile. I hated smiling for fear of my lip getting stuck. I never covered my mouth but come to think of it I hardly laughed at all. I was pretty self conscious of my teeth . It bothered me a lot. I still don’t have perfect teeth or the perfect smile but they are real and all mine .

My teeth were stained permanently yellow by many rounds of antibiotics when I was small. I was always self-conscious and a few years ago I had my teeth capped. It made a huge difference, perhaps not to others , but to me. I started grinning widely for the first time in my life.
In short, I identify with what you hve written! http://judydykstrabrown.com/2015/09/15/root-a-toot-toot-appetite/

Don't Eat That

The food pyramid is a lie, meat fat is good for you, and many (if not most) health problems are treatable with diet alone. I'm in remission from severe arthritis (multiple joints replaced), chronic fatigue, depression and a plethora of other symptoms from changing how I eat. This blog chronicles how my family and my parents eat and what it's done for us.
