1.The Babadook.

It’s a great, great, great scary movie. It was creepy. I thought I’d add my 2 cents about it. Possessions always freak me the hell out and I get scared. But if it’d been a real child abuse film I would’ve stopped watching it before you could say bobs-your-uncle. But it wasn’t like that. The mother only yelled expletives at her son after she became possessed but otherwise, is a very gentle but troubled parent. I thought the child needed professional help because he had some serious behavior problems. The happy ending for the mother and child was over shadowed by a cliffhanger, indicating it wasn’t over . The Babadook wasn’t gone. I didn’t understand why the mother would feed him worms though . Why would she still want that creepy monster in her house ? I liked the movie . It wasn’t a stupid movie. The house was depressing though and she probably should’ve moved out to a sunnier place but meh. I also never saw what the tarnation it was, only glimpses. Ya sure it was introduced to this family in the form of a book, which is kinda cool. It was a hardcover red book with popups. She attempts to get rid of it by The-Babadook-by-Clay-Disarray-450ripping the pages and throwing it in the garbage but it reappears again. She then pours gasoline on it and burns it but the child knows they can’t get rid of it . The Babadook looked like the black vomit that came out of her mouth. I know most exorcisms portray it that way. I thought maybe she’d be okay after that, instead the Babadook took possession of the house . Finally the mother asks “What do you want?” and I thought he’d reply with “To clean the mess you left in the basement”. lol. Anyway it’s been awhile since I’ve seen a movie like that and got scared.
