Of course I would drink the water of the fountain of youth like a pelican, if it were real. In fact I do want to live forever. Haven’t you heard we WERE meant to live?
We lost ourselves indeed. Taking back the life we shared with the Divine is a struggle and the search for the
fountain of youth
mystical pelican has its appeal. Its no surprise. Consequently we knew death and were cut off and driven away into parched lands and thirsty deserts with a mighty vengeance. Dying and death is thirsty business ;and initially not part of the plan . Man was a demigod through Grace and Faith. Like an eagle and a lion, he was able to face and overcome the dangers of sense and raise himself to soar in the atmosphere of God

If we knew better (but we don’t) we could fly like an eagle. Yes I said that. It is a mystery. Everyone thirsts for something and if you don’t well then get thirsty. Not for the fountain of youth but for Eternal Life.
To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life [Rev 21:6].
If you think it’s a fairytale then reality is but a nightmare. I’m sorry if this sounds too religious for some people but I can’t help it. It’s Sunday 😛
