Jackie's Forget Me Nots

No vase can overflow if you never fill it up.

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Burning Down the House.” Your home is on fire. Grab five items (assume all people and animals are safe). What did you grab?

Hermione's Beaded Handbag from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Hermione’s Beaded Handbag from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

I am not tied to my possessions, cause if I was I’d have a piano tied to my ass. I live in an apartment and a coat is rather essential to grab in a fire. However, let’s assume the apartment burns down and there is no way of saving all my possessions. If I could bring anything with me I would grab my slippers and a blanket, my boyfriend, along with my purse, ID, debit and credit cards. I’d make damn sure everything BUT the kitchen sink were in it too lol assuming I had a magic wand that is 🙂 I think it would be cool to have a magic handbag like Hermione Grangers in Harry Potter. When the death eaters came and destroyed Fleur and Bill’s wedding, Hermione made sure she was well prepared and already packed. She even had a Tent in her bag! lol she had her books and a change of clothes for Harry and Ron as well. That purse was a treasure trove of stuff! I’d also bring my cell phone if I had one.

Don't Eat That

The food pyramid is a lie, meat fat is good for you, and many (if not most) health problems are treatable with diet alone. I'm in remission from severe arthritis (multiple joints replaced), chronic fatigue, depression and a plethora of other symptoms from changing how I eat. This blog chronicles how my family and my parents eat and what it's done for us.
