Jackie's Forget Me Nots

No vase can overflow if you never fill it up.

imagesI am taking part in todays Blogging 101 assignment, where I am to take a comment I left on some other person’s blog and build on it. Todays post comes from Bring Them In by Susan B.Raven.

About a picture of a plastic manger scene left outside a Church all covered in snow, and icicles sharp enough to impale anyone.

With all due respect Our Lord should be brought in. It’s amazing what we can discover in our day to day journey. With the inspiration she was able to capture, she also provided a few of her own thoughts about it, like Jesus disappearing all the time and how it must’ve drove Mary crazy. It’s an understatement to losing him in the temple for 3 days but I thought it was funny. The part about the spaghetti could be about Lady and the Tramp but you’ll have to ask her about that.

The icicles brings to mind a few possibilities, but unfortunately not an event that I would want to see happen. Like getting impaled in the freshly fallen snow. Can you see how the red blood against the pristine snow would distract from all that beauty? This isn’t the Game of Thrones but perhaps Mary and Joseph look like they could be in the prefects bathroom with Harry Potter. It’s just a thought.

Those are just some of the things books it brought to mind from reading her post

Don't Eat That

The food pyramid is a lie, meat fat is good for you, and many (if not most) health problems are treatable with diet alone. I'm in remission from severe arthritis (multiple joints replaced), chronic fatigue, depression and a plethora of other symptoms from changing how I eat. This blog chronicles how my family and my parents eat and what it's done for us.
