Jackie's Forget Me Nots

No vase can overflow if you never fill it up.

Sharing the books I’ve read and am reading and plan on reading for the next week  with our lovely host  Sheila @bookjourney and with  many wonderful book bloggers

This week I picked up the entire Iron Druid Chronicles series by Kevin Hearne . I started it back in May 2013 with Hounded – the first installment.
Hounded (The Iron Druid Chronicles, #1)

Hounded is about a century and a half old Irish Druid, named Atticus, who is being “hounded” by some mean ole underworld god of some sort, Angus Og, but Atticus succeeds in putting an end to him. yay.

What I Read Last Week
Hammered (The Iron Druid Chronicles, #3)

Hammered is when Atticus makes a deal with a vampire to help him kill Thor in return for killing the bad witches . Aggh!

Hexed (The Iron Druid Chronicles, #2)

Hexed is about a group of good witches

and a nazi killing coven of bad witches

What I’m Currently Reading

Tricked (The Iron Druid Chronicles, #4)

Atticus gets himself into a lot of **it! I like him a lot though. Up until book 4 it has been very entertaining except I am not liking Tricked. I think it’s because of the characters involved in this one. Coyote is not my favorite character; neither is Hel, or those other ugly creatures  called skinwalkers] . They are so annoying and boring.  I am definitely not interested in the Navajo Indians down in Arizona

What I Plan On Reading

Hunted (The Iron Druid Chronicles, #6)Trapped (The Iron Druid Chronicles, #5)I’m just going to continue on reading and being thoroughly entertained by this series. I really hope that Atticus’ apprentice Granuaille is more than just another Druid. I would love to see them get married or something.

  1. There’s a short story from the Iron Druid series in Carniepunk, and I loved it! Oberon is a great character, I love him. And I know I’ll pick up this series as well.
Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier 🙂
    Have a fantastic week.

Kevin Hearne is an excellent writer imo. He’s a high school English teacher too so he knows a few things about story writing .

  5. Kathy Martin says:

I have the first four in Kevin Hearne’s series but haven’t had a chance to grab them off TBR mountain. They sound good. Come see what I read last week at Inside of a Dog. Happy reading!
