Jackie's Forget Me Nots

No vase can overflow if you never fill it up.

I never liked scary movies. I haven’t seen one in ages. When I get scared, I get angry and being scared from a movie is just a ridiculous waste of energy IMO.
I never watched Halloween or Friday the 13th and Freddy Kruger Nightmare on Elms street for that reason, because I wasn’t into them at the time.
Last year I bought Trick’R’Treat and a few other movies for Halloween cause I thought maybe I would change my mind and satisfy my boyfriend’s love of horror films. We both thought Trick ‘r Treat wasn’t scary at all, but cute, even though it involved sex and nudity. What doesn’t nowadays?
I have watched a few corny zombie movies. They don’t scare me either. I guess it all depends on my mood. I didn’t like the Chucky movies, in fact, I hate Chucky.
One day, when I was alone, I happened to watch The Shining. The two hard words about it are “Redrum, Redrum.” I felt a little sick.
I would say the paranormal and psychotic ones are the worst IMO, but as far as aliens, zombies and vampires go, they aren’t that scary.
Speaking of my favorite scary movie, it would have to be Brahm’s Stokers Dracula. I love this film. I think it is the best love story ever outside the Bible.

  1. I loved the movie Poltergeist. Wish they would come out with that movie in 3 D. Now that would be scary.

A classic Halloween mystery – The Maze at Four Chimneys. Samantha finds herself lost in a huge corn maze on Halloween eve…and someone’s following her. Lots more mystery going on, as well….check it out on Amazon.com

wow , I’ve never heard of it . It sounds like a short essay I wrote once .

  2. I thought TrickRTreat was clever. I agree with it not necessarily being scary, but clever enough to beat out a lot of Halloween movies. If you haven’t seen the Orphanage, I would highly recommend it. It’s a foreign film, but very well done none the less!

thanks, I’ll check into it 🙂

Don't Eat That

The food pyramid is a lie, meat fat is good for you, and many (if not most) health problems are treatable with diet alone.
