Jackie's Forget Me Nots

No vase can overflow if you never fill it up.

Does technology help you write? I don’t even think it can help you pray

Plinky is a great website that prompts me to write stuff but other than that….

I can honestly say, so far technology hasn’t helped much as far as my writing ability goes , but maybe in the habitual forming way. OhLife is a great writing tool to get into the habit of writing, but the only question I get asked is “How was your day?” At least I can say “I forget” or I just leave it blank because it’s too much to ask by not being specific enough that I don’t have enough time to think of something interesting that could turn into a great piece of fiction other than “I did this” and “I went to pick Phil up from work” etc…. *yawn*.

But ultimately every blank reply I make , I’m missing out on writing practice. It’s like watching the days pass at lightening speed without a chance to catch my breath. zoom zoom zoom right on by or I really do live a boring life.

If I leave my ‘ohlife’ blank it would leave gaps in my week, so I typically just hit reply-send , hoping someday I will get back to it . Is that surprising ?

I have also purchased Life Journal – an award winning journal writing software but to my chagrin , I realized that writing was not as easy as I initially thought it was, so I haven’t utilized it to the fullest ….yet, but I’m glad I have it . Someday….. I will .

Yeah I have to admit that without technology I wouldn’t be writing. Not for fun, at least.
I even forgot how my handwriting looks like! I guess that’s a bad thing :<

  3. I have a computer and it is easier to type and do documents so technology does help me as a writer. I also use the old fashioned method of writing in notebooks first a lot. Thanks
