Jackie's Forget Me Nots

No vase can overflow if you never fill it up.

Astronomy compels the soul to look upwards and leads us from this world to another – Plato, circa 400 BC

What’s a great place for stargazing?

Away from ‘light pollution’ and the bright city lights is likely where you’d find a stargazing Astronomist

Where I’m from (the city), I cannot see many stars at night, sadly , of which I know are splendid and numerous; so better to ask an astronomist where they go. It’s NOT likely they would say downtown Las Vegas .

Does the prince of darkness aka satan know how important stargazing is, and that is why lighting up our sky with ‘light pollution’ is preferable? so we forget the splendiferous role the stars have for us? Just gazing at the sky makes one ponder of how great God is doesn’t it?

Watch this video : The City Dark . Here’s another one similar : Our Vanishing Night

I would rather be in the desert than the city to look at the stars . However the coolest thing I have ever seen was a blood red moon . It looked like something coming out of a sci-fi movie . It was ominous and it was only around 6 pm summer evening sky.

Don't Eat That

The food pyramid is a lie, meat fat is good for you, and many (if not most) health problems are treatable with diet alone. I'm in remission from severe arthritis (multiple joints replaced), chronic fatigue, depression and a plethora of other symptoms from changing how I eat. This blog chronicles how my family and my parents eat and what it's done for us.
